FUNDING GUIDE
Bitget Deposit Guide
P2P and Crypto Transfers

How to fund a Bitget account
Most users fund Bitget in one of two ways: P2P purchase or on-chain crypto transfer. P2P is practical when you want to buy USDT directly with local payment methods. On-chain transfer is better if you already hold funds on Binance, OKX, another exchange, or a personal wallet.

Funding methods
1
Use P2P for local currency
Open the P2P market, choose a verified merchant, check completion rate and limits, then pay exactly as instructed inside the order flow.
2
Use on-chain deposit for crypto
Choose the coin, then choose the correct network. Copy the deposit address carefully and send only the matching asset on the matching chain.
3
Wait for confirmations
TRC20 and similar networks are usually fast. Ethereum-based deposits can take longer and cost more.
4
Transfer to the right account
Once funds arrive, move them internally to spot, futures, or copy-trading wallets as needed.
Main safety rules
- Always match the network: wrong chain selection can permanently lose funds
- Use your own payment account in P2P: mismatched names often trigger disputes or delays
- Keep screenshots and TXIDs: useful if you need support
- Test with a small amount first: especially on a new network or new destination address
💡 TipFor USDT, many users prefer TRC20 because fees are low and confirmations are typically fast.
